Audcomp, a Hamilton-based leader in information technology solutions, held a one-day Technology Symposium to showcase emerging technologies from leading manufacturers. Taking place on Tuesday, June 8, the event featured a combination of manufacturer exhibits and informative technology training sessions. .
Top manufacturers, such as HP, Dell, AMD, Samsung, Toshiba, Thinworx, Xerox, Lexmark, and Kaspersky Lab and many others, were on hand to demonstrate their latest products and technologies. Participants met one-on-one with manufacturer representatives, technology experts, system engineers and senior CIOs and took part in informative training sessions.
"The event was a great success," says Audcomp President Gary Sohal. "It was an opportunity for local businesses people to exchange ideas and discuss how manufacturers have harnessed the technology to create better efficiencies, streamline processes and enhance productivity and profitability."
Sohal says the event was a chance for Audcomp to reach out and thank the local businesses and organizations that have helped the company become one of the top IT solution providers in Canada. Originally located on the Hamilton mountain, Audcomp is now preparing to move into a brand new state-of-the-art facility on Tradewind Drive in the Ancaster Business Park. The tech-savvy business is a prominent player in Hamilton’s growing technology sector.
With the Symposium's success, Sohal says his team plans to hold similar events in the future.
